May was a busy month for me, I took a trip to Manchester and Blackpool with my mum and celebrated my birthday, I’ve been ill a bit during May and was put on a waiting list for my next orthopaedic surgery too.
For our trip to Manchester, we flew – it was only a short flight but I wanted to be comfortable and look nice if the plane went down. I wore a tshirt from Topshop and one of my favourite jackets from the wonderful Pull & Bear. I picked up the bag for my cabin luggage just before I went away from The Pattern Principle.
I rocked a number of amazing tshirts throughout May (and we won’t talk about how much I accidently spent on clothes whilst I was in Manchester). My French Kiss tshirt is from Brat & Suzie and my kitten-in-the-pocket tshirt came from H&M – it’s an oversized fit and actually really comfy to wear, with jeans and trainers it’s a cool casual outfit!
I have grabbed some lovely bits from Primark recently too, including a lovely little dress that I wore when we went out with my parents for my birthday dinner, a gorgeous chunky knit jumper I wore to go to Bella Italia in Blackpool (review here) and a cute Mickey Mouse tshirt.
New Look often has an excellent choice of tshirts and other lovely bits, one of my favourite tshirts is a green tshirt with pink writing – “boys whatever, cats forever” excellent advice to live by I think. I’m really into oversized tshirts so I was pleased with a mermaid themed top I found as well. Some days have been pretty chilly, so I dug out an old bobble hat and perked it up with some Jade Boylan’s Candy Doll Club Polly Pocket pins.
I’ve accessorised well this month with pins and jewellery. I was lucky enough to get two Pandora stacking rings for my birthday, one from my mum, one from my husband and I treated myself to one with my birthday money. I also rocked some gorgeous earrings then complimented my hair and a very cute pom-pom hairband from my May Crown & Glory Glitterati box! I also picked up an amazing Holographic satchel from LYDC London whilst I was Blackpool – a bargain at £10.00!
The lovely Stacey over at Unicornfairy.net got me some fabulous Alice in Wonderland pyjamas for my birthday! They’ve come in very handy this month whilst I have been spending alot of time in my pjs! These are from Primark – who have an excellent pyjamas selection at the moment.
Boohoo have hit my bank account hard recently as well, I was very kindly given a money off voucher which enabled me to treat myself for a bargain, I picked up some very sparkly shoes and a couple of tshirts.
I rocked this fabulous dinosaur dress as well – it’s from Credland & Brown who make a wonderful array of custom dresses in the most gorgeous fabrics.
I’ve managed to try quite a few different nail art ideas this month as well. Check out my instagram for brand details.
Other highlights this month have included a lovely find from TK Maxx – a tshirt with little gold bumblebees on it and a very cute Cath Kidston cat jumper and my lovely cat tshirt from Asos.
So that’s what I’ve been hiding my mismatched underwear with throughout the month of May. Have you been rocking any awesome outfits this month? Get in touch below!
